A Modern Take on Steak
Rococo Steak opened its doors in St. Petersburg in 2012, crafting a new interpretation of the classic American steakhouse—and in doing so, threw down the gauntlet to Tampa Bay’s established (and stuffy) category brands. The restaurant has grown into a nationally renown fine dining establishment, receiving praise that includes back-to-back Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence accolades and recognition by USA Today as one of the “Top 10 Foodie Spots In Tampa Bay.”
In 2015, the client challenged Pyper Young to create a new restaurant advertising campaign that serves up a superior level of distinction worthy of its culinary mastery. To accomplish this, we infused the whimsy, light, indulgence and elegance of the 18th century Rococo era with avant-garde sensibilities to create a revolutionary restaurant brand.
The marketing initiative, like Rococo Steak itself, blends a brash, bold strategic perspective and striking execution. The Modern Take On Steak calls diners to join the steak-lover liberation via a new website, print ads, direct mail campaign and private dining collateral materials.
The result? An extraordinary feast for diners, and flourishing fiscal performance for Rococo Steak.
